Affordable Dental Plans

For healthy teeth:

Replace your toothbrushes every 3 months or after illness.
Babies before the age of one should start seeing the dentist.
Eating healthy snacks from the beginning should help with tooth decay later on.
Wash all pacifiers with soap and water and never clean them by putting them in your mouth.
Protect your children by having them play on playground equipment that has a soft surface so if they fall it will help to avoid dental accidents.
Check with your dentist or Pediatrician if your child should use fluoride.
Any dental appliance should be washed using dental cleaner and rinsed thoroughly.
If a permanent tooth is injured try to push it back or if it is knocked out put it in milk and get to the dentist right away.
Last but not least, make sure you brush and floss at least 2 times a day and see you dentist every 6 months.
How sour candy can effect your teeth from the Minnesota Dental Assc.

Protect your teeth during sports with mouthguards. The best ones are from a dentist where you can buy custom made ones. The dentist will custom make it by using a mold of your teeth. Of course they will cost more but, they will protect the teeth much better.
